OUR PASTOR

     Apostle Jay R. Oates Sr. was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  In 1981 he met his Sweetheart Alicia K. Jasper and they later married in November 1985.  Apostle Oates has 5 children Briona Matthews, Cameron (Sheena) Oates, Charles (Tiffany) Oates, Jayneice Oates, Jay R. II (Keyonna) Oates. He also has 18 grandchildren that affectionately call him Pa-Pa.

     In 1989 Apostle Oates was introduced to deliverance under the tutelage of Pastor George W. Payne at Outreach Ministry of Love.  There he began to build his relationship with the Lord.

     In 1990 Apostle Oates moved his family’s membership to Full Gospel House of Prayer now (FGFOM) under the leadership of Bishop Harold W. Jones.  Because of his faithfulness to the Ministry the Lord laid upon the Bishops heart to ordain him as a Deacon. A year later after studying to show himself approved Bishop Jones License him as a Minister.  While at Full Gospel Apostle Oates radio ministry, Sounding the Alarm was born.  Apostle Oates served there faithfully until God called him to become a Shepherd and lead His people.

     In September 2000 Apostle Oates founded Latter House Family Outreach Ministries, the Super Natural Church.  Scripture base Haggai 2:9, the glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former saith the Lord of hosts, and in this place will I give thee peace saith the Lord of hosts.

     In August 2009, Apostle Oates received the Degree of Honorary Doctor of Divinity in Humane Letters by the Fellowship Bible Institute, Dr. Bishop John Vincent Jr. President.

     Apostle Oates became an Apostle June 5, 2010.  His Concecration was done by Apostles Milford and Evelyn Carter.  Apostles Oates has an Apostolic calling to decree and declare what thus says the Lord to God’s people.

     Apostle Oates has a heart for the people of God.  God imparted a vision to him that some may say is the same or similar to all Pastors.  But a few things that make this vision different is; he will work with fathers so they can lead their families back to church. Apostle Oates believe that strong men make strong families and strong families make strong churches and strong churches make strong communities.  We are in this community of believers to make a difference.  This church will give hope to the hopeless.  This church is a Super Natural Church, doing Super Natural things, for a Super Natural God. 

     Apostle Oates is an inspirer, an encourager, loving, caring, Spiritfilled first partaker, he lives what he preach.  He believes in empowering people to empower others to go into the world and preach the Gospel and tell God’s people about His goodness and encourage them to come into the Kingdom of God and then start the cycle for others.

   Apostle Oates believes in his heart that no one shall be left behind and he will spend the remainder of his days on this earth insuring that everyone have the knowledge to be included in that number.
